Aahh! Pistachios! Smooth and slightly sweet and full of crunch and coming in season right now.

This May, pistachios are our hero ingredient at our next 'Three plates and a chef' pop-up dining experience.

Our amazing Chefs will bring a bit of crunch and a sense of sophistication as pistachios are featured in each of our three creative courses. 

The menu is top secret up until your arrival on event day, but one thing we can assure you is that each course will be a 'foodies' delight as our Chef's come up with unique ways to incorporate this ingredient in an entree, main and dessert course. 

Each course will be generously paired with premium boutique wines from around Australia and ticket prices are inclusive of sparkling on arrival as well as music from a local musician.

The Little Beet

In this pop up event, we will weave into the three plates the nutty flavours of the Beet. 

The beet is a favourite roasted or with goats cheese, but this ingredient will bring a lot of delicious pairings to the plates. It could be pickled, raw, cooked, roasted or even might include the rarer version of the golden yellow beet. 

This dinner will sure transform your experience of the beetroot in new ways and each dish will be beautifully paired with boutique wines.

For this pop up event, Fennel will add a special point of interest in these three dishes. 

Fennel adds a touch of sweetness to the dishes and we will transform this comforting ingredient in new ways. The seeds, bulb or stalk can be used and works it magic with citrus, mushrooms, chicken and fish.

Carrots! A favourite vegetable by many but will normally appear as the side dish. But for this event, we will be taking the humble carrot and taking it up a notch as it is hero of our three dishes.

It adds a hint of earthiness and also add vibrancy to any dish. They come in orange, purple and yellow and will bring a rainbow of colour throughout the night's dishes.

This experience is all about creating a sense of intrigue and weave the distinctive but unique taste of Cumquats into the three dishes. 

The less known citrus brings a sweet, sour taste to the plates. The peel is sweet and the pulp is sour. It works really well with rich meats, nuts, seafood and surprisingly pears. 

This event is all about experiencing something new and different. Each dish will also be paired with boutique wines from around Australia.

This experience focuses on bringing a bit of spice to the table staring ginger in each of the three dishes on the plate. 

Whether pickled, fresh or crystallized, this ingredient adds a wonderful spice to both vegetables, meat and one of our favourite, with marmalade.

This long table brings an extra special experience. We are heading back to Core Cider House for a long table lunch between the orchard trees with pears as the hero ingredient in the three plates. 

We have exclusive access to set up between the trees which at this time of year will be in full blossom. A treat for our guests to experience.

With several different varieties of pears, it will bring a touch of subtly and versatility to the lunch. Our chef has had a lot of inspiration to create a unique menu full of flavour, texture and pay homage to the wonderful location we will be in.

Chocolate is more than just a bar and there are so many delectable food combinations that we can include. Chocolate works so well will sea salt, orange, fennel, ginger, berries to name a few.
